A few bugs are fixed:
  o the opening tag <users> is added to the external XML run
    log; 
  o `serve' does not crash on failed assertion, when it cannot
    create a symlink to the current standings file;
  o `super-serve' attempts to start the `serve' management even
    if the `serve' failed to start in the prepare mode;
  o the buffer size in the `checker_read_buf' function is
    increased to 1Mb;
  o `serve' reports an error, but continues execution, if the
    symlink creation is failed.
